Illustrator Jack Davis had a talent for showing what we might be thinking

Famed illustrator, caricaturist, and  satirist Jack Davis beamed up on July 27, 2016. He crossed this kid’s radar in the 1960s when he was cranking out illustrations for everything from Time to Mad Magazine.

He was, above all, a visual storyteller. As the example above attests, he had a true talent for showing what we might be thinking–for illustrating our notions.
