Artist? Designer? Illustrator? Meet Korean artist, An Min Jeong

by Chuck Green at ideabook.com

Min Jeong’s work is analogous to the kind of fine engraving and guilloche you’d find in the design of currency. In some cases you see graphic design mimicking art, in this case (to me) it is art mimicking graphic design.

She describes her work (in part) like this…

“In trying to express the vitality and presence of the invisible, I employ objective verification methods such as mathematical and scientific factors, which are considered to be more convincing in a general sense.”

Thanks to Will Schofield of 50 Watts for pointing us to it.
