Can design heal political wounds?

The DiMassimo Goldstein agency hopes design can help to heal political wounds

by Chuck Green at ideabook.com

New York ad agency DiMassimo Goldstein has created a peace offering for the holiday—something for everyone with a strong opinion.

The press release explains….

“The brutal 2016 election year left many of our friendships and relationships damaged, if not completely destroyed. But now that we’re approaching the holidays, we all have an opportunity to reconcile with the friends we fought so hard with but still hold so dear.

In the spirit of togetherness, Bipartisan Holiday Cards offer a fun way to say that yes, we still wish you peace and happiness, despite our disagreements. The bonds of true friendships, after all, should trump our political differences (pun intended.)

“We asked ourselves, ‘What is the most helpful action we can take this holiday season?'” said agency chief Mark DiMassimo. “We saw the breakdown of relationships over the recent election and decided to help bring reconciliation, in spite of disagreement.”
